I have been working with Abbe and the Bright Path team for a few years. I first contacted Abbe when I was having a difficult time finding housing and services for my daughter who is on the autistic spectrum. When Covid hit my daughter's group home closed and she had to move into a hotel for more than a year. While she was living in the hotel I contacted Abbe and she and her team helped to get my daughter supportive services as well a subsidized apartment for people with special needs. My daughter is in a much better place with much better care than she has ever had. Things have worked out so well that just over a year ago I also started working with Abbe and her team to help my oldest adult son who was recently diagnosed as also being on the autistic spectrum. Things for him are working out great and he now lives in the subsidized apartment with his sister. Now that I look back at all that has been accomplished for both of my children I am amazed at the amount of effort, red tape and paperwork that has been completed.
